ADOPT A WAR GRAVE
Following the example of the residents of Assisi, Italy, local people or organisations are invited to adopt one of the War Graves in St Peter's Churchyard. This would involve caring for the grave, perhaps placing flowers and finding out more about the person. Further details from Gwen Lamb on +44 (0)1843 869810

A Professional Presentation of the Past - by Volunteers
World War I Graves Tour

Visit the graves and remember those who died during or as a result of the 1914-18 World War. There are 37 people buried here, two of whom are unidentified seamen.
As with the other tours, these are walking tours, with a guide, around the attractive St Peter's Churchyard, with tales of those we honour.
You will need sensible shoes, as you will be walking across uneven ground, and should allow 90 minutes for the tour.
We make no charge for this tour.
Some restricted access for visitors with disabilities. Children are very welcome on our tour. We would, however, suggest a minimum age of 10 years to appreciate the experience.
